hehe..nervous sia..1st time blog here.

ok forget bout tt crap. this is the all-time favourite, beloved, lovable and simply irresistable aunty here. who am i...yes it's me..ME..xinxuan(:

pls allow a bit of self-intro here. i joined team jj soccerettes in sept, the last trng b4 the pause of all CCAs for the preparartion of promos. i know it is lyk damn late and i totally regret. how i wish i can rewind time and join during the pae days. sians.
but ya..the 1st trng i went, i was greeted by a fantabulous sharron with the comment F*** on the field, during game.wat an experience?!?! it was the trng coach was back from a ban by lim xiao ***. i rmb the 1st time i saw coach i was like this coach buae pai sia but lyk a bit weirdo ah. ya..so that day marked the 1st day of my life in team jj soccerettes.
after tt is all the trngs, getting to know the girls, bonding, talking crap and life goes on. but ever since tt day, i haf learnt the meaning of a team. this team is bonded by the tears and blood it shed, the moments shared, the laughter, the sorrow, the gossips(my personal fave), the games played, the trngs went thro, the scoldings, the encouragements and many other things tt can go on and on the list. this is where our life starts and it will go on as long as the team spirit goes on.

i'm damn grateful to coach for teaching me to play and love soccer. thanks to my girls for letting me haf a team to share the moments and play soccer with. thanks everyone for bearing w me from the start when i was owaes screaming and shouting my head off more than playing soccer to until now when i can really contact a ball well and play a game well. sorry to those i've injured due to my violent nature (lyk sharron whom i gave a special mark to). i know i'm violent, rough, aggressive (whatever u call it) but it's my nature. and ya..tt was how i kicked tt girl from NJ, flat on, on the tummy, with the soles of my pretty studs and in the end caused my own team to suffer. i'm really sorry for not playing w my brains on tt day, i was too nervous and i just let the players passed me so easily. but whatever it is, tks for all the understanding.

on the ending note...u guys are the best bunch of ppl i've met. i will owaes love, cherish and rmb all of u guys. looking at all the memories tt we've created and shared who cares bout top 4? at the end of the day, it is the ties tt bind and hold us tgt tt matters. we will owaes be the one team tt holds a special meaning and remembrance in each and every one of our hearts.

ok, now for the most impt line in this whole post:
I LOVE TEAM JJ SOCCERETTES!

so long.kudos (:

hey ya'll red undies queen has just arrived at the scene! woohoo!!!

looks like a years gone by in a giffy! like what a good friend told me a couple of days back, "good times pass fast". least, I can definitely conclude all those scandalous, hairpulling moments have truly been a memory of the great past ( though i sincerely think it'll be reanacted CAN'T WAIT!).

last year in march, saw you guys, first thing was *shucks freaking load of ching chong chang*... so i moved on to see how the badminton team was like... and whadayaknow! THEY WERE A HELL LOAD OF CHING CHONG CHANG! so i decided soccer was fated for me.

As you can see, my passion for soccer was not really in built in me. it was merely a molehill... but coach and you guys really made it into the greatest mountain unseen. I may have slacked in a few trainings.. ok.. A LOT. but when i looked to my right, shucks, huishan is doing her utmost best, look to the left.. *dammit, even candice?!? so i reflected upon my attitude towards soccer.. only coming around in january 2009 when i hoped i wasnt too late.

Nationals was not a dispointment to me. i didnt come to soccer to win that shiny badge, polished yellow, plated with a layer of gold. No i surely didnt come for that. I came for the experience in trying out something new--> that is to work in a team once more. you guys made it easy for me to adapt and easily, i managed to.

I had many problems pertaining to bonding with ya'll.. first my mom didnt support my soccer decision, i had curfews, i had my work, i had family, i had my class, and i had ****** (its a him). so i was always the one photoshoped into pictures taken during occasions ( not literally). however, i found it a joy that i was still able to be close to all of you!

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; 5
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same, 10
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back. 15
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
robert frost.
yes this poem is a heartfelt poem which i want to share with y'all. I believe the path we took was something less desired by females. and like coach said, we are the *top-notch, high standard girls* (of course with a lot of modifications..heh XP)

I love soccer. i can. and we are.

signing off, tanto who just realised she's played back, middle and forward in the field! lol!

These Ties That Bind

Hey ppl, Sharron here. I'm sorry that i seldom post entries on this blog but i do my best read all the entries posted, coz i'm ur typical ah pek who always forget to blog. I wanted to use sze ting's format to blog however, it'll be like i'm copying, so i'm just gonna give a overall post of our past year's experience.

At first when i stepped into soccer and saw you guys. i thought, oh man! would they be slag? Are they joining for real? will i regret soccer? Back then, i was someone who was uber hot-tempered, cynical, skeptical, basically, i don't really know how to open up to people easily. But, I'm not like xing xuan.(who is "very" xenophobic)

Then slowly, through many trainings, many scoldings, many crying, many injuries, i begin to find out how different each and everyone of us are in our team. There are people who can burp like mega loud, do triple jumps before shooting, scream like mother cow, sing with a fake eyebrow, thinks she's the fattest when obviously she's the thinest, eat like mother cow, speak as though the voice and body don't match, take chinese but can't speak it well, skinny and flirty, has "super smelly shoes", looks like garfield(my sis), looks like barney who sings korean, who is super quiet but not to me! ,roll her eyes like no other, who speaks and yells like a baby, who likes rui en like i do!

Slowly , i begin to like the team but i didn't really show it on the field till a senior analysed how i played on field. Only then i realised that even though i like the team, i didn't trust you guys when it comes to match play. So with the help of you guys and my seniors, i slowly change my temper, slowly try to trust you guys on field again. I began to really enjoy football when i did all of that.

We started to work real hard for the nearing season and even though we did not make it to top 4, i know that we all did our best. We started from ground zero, from nothing to something. We fight like hell during match and gave our opponents a good fight. It's always about the process, not the success.

I want to really thank coach for his guidence and patience to coach us from a "zero" in soccer to decent soccer players. I don't think that there's another coach like him who is this great and i'm 100% sure everyone agrees with me.(not fallacy) And without him, we'll really be nothing.

I also want to apologise for my oubursts during trainings and matches, if i have offended you in anyway, it was never intentional.

Lastly, i just want to say that soccer and you all HAVE changed my life and how the way i look at things. You gals are the bomb! This is the team i will always remember, always miss over the years. This is the team where i know that at the end of the day we will always be ONE team and that's something that nobody can take away from us. These are the ties that we've created from day one when we stepped into soccer, these are the ties that bind.
