hey, just wanna say thank you to everyone here..

well training friday was quite tiring.. i only attended the physical part, which consists of going up and down the stairs 6 times(8 for jam n jia en), and also 400m run. for me, i was vvvvv tired after the stiars thingy, and having to run those rounds was really challenging me. i think all of us were tired, but we still completed the rounds, although some of us din quite meet the time limit given to us.

well, wat really happened to me was i couldnt really breathe properly cause of my flu, and i was really really tired. all the rounds i was running really slow, behind of everyone else. but until the last round, someone said something that really motivated me to continue running. i remembered sharron said that her legs hurt. and it was during the last roud, when sharron said these words to jia en to jia you for her: come on, my leg so pain already i still can run. i was really touched and motivated. i tried to run faster, although stil v slow, and i wasnt the last for that round. thak you sharron.

well that was not the only thing that touched me that day. when i was walking out of the school gate, xian wen came back from spc with a bottle of 100+. she offered me some. at first i said no, but she said, just drink. so i drank. i was touched because i felt really appreciated.

sometimes during training, we may feel tired, and need some motivation. i feel that whenever this happens, we just have to look around and see the effort that each one of us is putting in, and u wil be motivated too!

its really great to feel that u are not alone and u are appreciated. i really wan to thank everyone for all this time that we have known each other... i love u all and have a very merry christmas!!!- huishan

Today we had a match with NUS's Yusoff Hall. Thankfully, the sun remained throughout the match, though there was a slight worry of a drizzle before the match began. The first eleven were Sze Ting, Jing Wen, Kah Poh, Yuen Feng, Xian Wen, Jia En, Jaystine, Sharry, Joanne and Jam, and Iezah of course. Though the 11-a-side match was a little messy, they defended well against the NUS girls. Then later, we played a 7-a-side match which was played better; also, everyone got a chance to play and gain more match experience. The seniors came too and rallied us on which was really nice of them(:

After the match, we had a drill in which was to improve our passing to one another during a match-like situation. It was drill which I think helped in our coordination in passing and also taught us to see different approaches in attacking.

Jia you everyone!

hmmm, i think coach said that word for every debrief. Seriously.

We played against ofs today. Even though we lost, there's signs of improvement.

However personally, i dun think it's sufficient. Like what coach said, they have 6 years! That's like getting to know your really good friends in primary school! What about us? We have one pathetic year. So really, we need to cooperate with coach. Work harder, play a match like you want to win it, not just walk in feeling nervous or scared, it never helps.

Nevertheless, it was again a great learning experience for us all. Through match play, we kinda learn the mechanics of how the game works. It's alot like playing cs. It's predictable. But when a real war comes, anything can happen and it's all unpredictable. Similarly, a real soccer game is unpredictable. With 50 -50 balls and player's touches.

Hopefully, through more friendlies, we'll improve further, play better, and not let coach down.
12 weeks to war girls, brace yourselves.

hello....... huishan here.

today, we had a match with the j2s. the weather was great today! lots of huge clouds helped us to block the strong sun. i thought we played rather ok today. the 1st eleven were sharron(as per norm), jing wen, iezah, kah poh, jia en, sze ting, sharry, yuen feng, vani, jam and jo. hope i remembered correctly, haha. anyway, the first few minutes was a bit blur. but eventually, everyone sort of 'got into the game'(must listen to HSM1 song 'get ur head in the game', hehe).the first goal in the game was scored by the j2s, followed by sharron's penalty kick. the final score was 6-1(which was better than the previous 6-0, i hope). well, at least there was an improvement, a small one though.

coach mentioned that 2day, generally, there was an improvement. but there can be more!! come on girls, 12 more weeks to our a level-i mean a division, haha. endure!! we need to get our basics right so, practice more!

after full time? we had another 15-20 minutes more of game, followed by penalty shoot out. everyone got a chance to take a penalty:) i thought it was rather stressful when u have to take a shot and everyone else is looking at u :p but i got a damn taiko shot, haha..

anyway, i think everyone did quite well today. i enjoyed the whole journey until now with everyone of u. let's continue to keep up and improve ourselves! ENDURE

HELLO ALL, JAM HERE!
Today was a fun day, playing against seniors and some girls from queensway sec.
Was the j1's second match ever, and second match with the seniors too! We definitely learned alot today, and were able to gauge our level.

Girls, i think we should work harder from now on, and train on our stamina and skills. Like coach said, our A div is in 3 months, and that leaves us with about 20 more trainings only. Let's jiayou and we'll be able to play much better too! :D Coach says we have the potential, let's prove him right. I can tell that he's got expectations for us, we should live up to them right! He's done so much for us already, time to give back to him.

Anyway, today's match was definitely beneficial, and we know now that we REALLY need a classroom lesson. Haha. :)

I love playing with you girls, and let's work together as a team for the remaining short time that we have cos we'll be stepping down real soon also. Each training should be looked at as our last, and we should give it all we've got yeah! :D soccerettes rock onnnnnnnnnnn!
